Kawanaboardriders Club is affiliated with Surfing Queensland and Surfing Australia and it acts as a partner in the sport development pathway. Our club  has a strong, passionate and dedicated committee which also consists of experienced and accredited Club members such as Head Judge, Level 1, 2 and 3 Surf Judges, Head Coach, Water Safety and First Aid officers.

Our Club is committed to Junior development and offers  members,  coaching lessons as well as members of all ages judging  and coaching courses throughout the year.  Sponsors contributions, as well as fundraising efforts throughout the year, from our dedicated parents and club members  help these opportunities to occur. We as a club encourage and support all members to attend our monthly events in a professional, fun and  relaxed manner as well as providing and teaching the skills required to pursue a competitive career in the surfing industry if interested.

Kawanaboardriders Club consists of male and female members of all ages.

Kawanaboardriders Club runs monthly competitions  and successfully hosted the 1st Coast of Origin Regional event in 2011. Successful members from our club combined together as a Sunshine coast team with other sunshine coast boardriding  clubs and competed againgst the Gold Coast team. The end result was the Sunshine Coast team winning the event in 2011. We also host an annual Memorial event in memory of one of the clubs members Dan Thomas, who tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident.
